Training

Training

The Campus mondial de la mer community has a broad spectrum of training at its disposal. Addressing a French and international audience, it ranges from basic training to continuous professional development and from high school to postgraduate level, whether wholly or marginally marine-related. Campus mondial de la mer is working to highlight the diverse and constantly evolving nature of the training on offer. The aim is to present an overview that is tailored to different audiences, particularly internationally.

ISBlue and SEA-EU – Two examples of the community’s response to calls for national and international projects

Training provider

The impetus for this training, which has been running since 2017, comes from the Campus mondial de la mer initiative. Administrative support is provided by the Department of Lifelong Learning (SUFCA) at the University of Western Brittany.

The programme for this continuing professional development course draws on the wealth of complementary skills and knowledge afforded by the Campus mondial de la mer community. Course contributors with a variety of profiles – academics, researchers, engineers, managers and entrepreneurs – are invited to share their expertise. Most come from institutions and organisations in western Brittany and offer a comprehensive overview of the issues associated with developing human activities at sea and the transitions now underway in these various sectors.
The training is recognised by the following CPD and training initiatives and labels:
