The goal of CMM regarding research is to raise marine science and technology to the highest international scientific standards, and thus to respond to major global challenges concerning:

  • The understanding of impact of anthropogenic changes on marine and coastal environments
  • The development of the blue economy

CMM, through its members, makes marine sciences and technologies its strategic priority.
