New facilities on the portal : CristalO, Pixel sur Mer, CESIM Santé, Laboratoires Gilbert

This month, two companies (Laboratoires Gilbert, Pixel sur Mer) and two public platforms (operated by the Roscoff Marine Station and the CESIM Santé) present their services on offer.

Unique in western France, the CristalO platform performed by the Roscoff Marine Station has recently joined the Biogenouest network. It provides the necessary infrastructure and support to facilitate researcher on macromolecules crystallography. 

 

Inaugurated on the 18th of March, the Maritime Rescue Simulation Platform (SUMO) operated by the CESIM Santé, Université de Bretagne Occidentale and CHRU Brest is unique in Europe. It provides a highly realistic environment wich enables a medical intervention team to work in situations which are dangerous, confined (helicopter rescue and rescue at sea) and unpleasant (moving boat, seasickness, disagreeable odours, etc.). 6 trainings are proposed to health staff and seagoing peoploe (skippers, divers, fishermen, general public, etc.).

Pixel sur Mer offers custumized solutions in the fields of marine electronics and hardware. It proposes EXOCET Blue, a unique multi-protocol, multi-interface device for data acquisition and visualization, that can be combined to optics fiber. Designed according to a black box concept, this Plug&Play tool is a gateway compatible with maritime equipment and software.

Laboratoires Gilbert is a company specialized in manufacturing, production of cosmetics, beauty, perfurmery, essential oils and hygiene, in particular from marine products. On the portal, two facilities are proposed:  

• A reactor able to make pilots from 50 kg

For each facility, services on offer are accessible for research and companies. Technical advisers can be easily reached from the portal.
